- To interact with Dr. Manju C. Nair (Associate professor of Botany, University of Calicut), an expert in Plant taxonomy specialized in the study of Pteridophytes.
To make members aware of flora around us and the conservation measures to be adopted.
To familiarize the methods of digital documentation of Flora
- To give a brief account on water bodies and the animal diversity especially in the rivers of Kerala.
To discuss about the historical aspects of biodiversity.
- To demonstrate the use of different cameras for taking photographs of different types of organisms.
To provide a detailed account on the use of different types of lenses and also made students aware of the techniques to be used while capturing the photographs of different organisms for taxonomic studies.
