Field Trip to ecotuorism site- Thenmala at Kuriakose Gregorios College
On February 21, 2026, 20 students from the Bhoomitrasena and Nature Club visited Thenmala Ecotourism, India's first planned ecotourism destination. The trip aimed to promote awareness about environmental conservation and sustainable tourism practices.
The students explored the Adventure, Leisure, and Culture zones, engaging in activities like trekking and learning about local flora and fauna. They observed the efforts of the Thenmala Ecotourism Promotion Society in maintaining the ecosystem balance.
