Gardening at NSS College of Engineering

The volunteers of NSS Units 128 and 198 of NSSCE, in collaboration with Bhoomithrasena, under the sub-unit ‘Samrudhi’, have been actively engaged in regular gardening activities across the campus. These activities include planting saplings, watering plants, removing weeds, maintaining pathways and introducing new vegetation to improve the garden’s biodiversity.

This initiative aims not only to maintain a clean and green environment but also to instill a strong sense of responsibility, environmental awareness and community spirit among the volunteers. The gardening tasks are carried out on a scheduled basis to ensure the participation of every volunteer. Daily maintenance such as watering and cleaning, plays a vital role in enhancing the aesthetic and ecological value of the college campus
