Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2024: Swachh Bharat Abhiyan at Pulpatta Grama Panchayath at Korambayil Ahamed Haji Memorial Unity Women's College, Manjeri
The Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2024 was organized at Pulpatta Grama Panchayath on 25th September 2024 by the Bhoomithrasena Club in association with the NSS Units 171 and 008 of KAHM Unity Women’s College, Manjeri. Conducted in alignment with the national mission of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the programme aimed to promote health awareness, environmental cleanliness, and civic responsibility within the local community. The event was officially inaugurated by Mr. Abdul Rahman, President of Pulpatta Grama Panchayath, marking the beginning of a meaningful day dedicated to environmental stewardship and public service.
Fifty enthusiastic volunteers actively participated in a large-scale compound cleaning drive, demonstrating their commitment to creating a cleaner and healthier environment. Guided by Programme Officers Mr. Haris U. and Dr. Faseela P., Bhoomithrasena Club coordinator and NSS PO, the students worked diligently to clean and beautify public spaces. The initiative highlighted the vital role of youth in disease prevention, waste management, and community well-being.
The collaborative effort between the college, NSS Units, Bhoomithrasena Club, and local authorities showcased the strength of collective action in addressing environmental challenges.
