World Wetland Day Observation-Invited talk on "Diversity and Ecology of Seasonal Wetlands" at MES KEVEEYAM COLLEGE VALANCHERY
An invited talk on "Diversity and Ecology of Seasonal Wetlands" was conducted by Dr Pramod C, Assistant Professor in Department of Botany, University of Calicut. The program was inaugurated by Prof Shajid P P, the Principal In Charge of MES Keveeyam College. A pledge on Wetland conservation was taken by the participants. A detailed discussion on the seasonal wetlands and the variety of organisms associated was conducted. The participants were exposed to a new area of diversity, usually neglected by many.
The resource person showed many photographs of plants in the wetlands.
After the session , an interactive session was also conducted. It was followed by a Vote of Thanks by Preetha U, Assistant professor in Botany.
