Carry Green This Onam – Cloth Bag Awareness & Distribution Drive at Sree Sankara College Kalady
The Bhoomitrasena Club of Sree Sankara College, Kalady conducted a cloth bag distribution programme during the Co-optex Mega Sale organized in connection with the Onam festival on 19 and 20 August 2024. The programme was coordinated by Ms. Mini K. D., Bhoomitrasena Club Coordinator, with the objective of creating awareness among the public about the harmful effects of plastic bags and encouraging the use of reusable cloth bags. The initiative received a positive response from shoppers and the general public, effectively spreading the message of eco-friendly practices and reinforcing the importance of sustainable living during festive seasons.
