Save Wetlands, Save Nature at KTM COLLEGE OF ADVANCED STUDIES
The Bhoomithrasena Club of KTM College of Advanced Studies organized an Essay Writing Competition on 03.02.2026 in connection with World Wetlands Day observation. The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of wetlands in maintaining ecological balance, conserving biodiversity, and protecting water resources. Students enthusiastically participated in the competition by presenting their ideas and views on wetland conservation and environmental sustainability.
A total of 19 students participated in the competition. The event encouraged students to improve their creative writing and environmental awareness while understanding the need to protect wetlands from pollution and destruction. Ms. Jamshiya of Second B.Com won the first prize and Ms. Fidha of Second B.Com secured the second prize in the competition.
