As part of the Kerala government's Waste-Free New Kerala project, the Bhumithrasena Club undertook the task of auditing the MCF in Parakkadav, a gram panchayat in the north of Sooranad. 50 volunteers, led by Faculty-in-Charge Anilkumar, reached the MCF in Parakkadav and in the presence of Haritha Karma Sena and gram panchayat officials, inquired in detail about the waste collected in the MCF, its treatment and the activities of the MCF and recorded them in the prescribed forum. The volunteers understood that the MCF operating in a temporary building has many limitations and recorded them. Then they visited the newly built MCF and understood the facilities. The volunteers carried out this task, which had to be carried out with great responsibility, with sincerity. The report of social auditing was submitted on time
