Stop ocean plastic pollution at Munambam Harbour at St Pauls College, Kalamassery
As part of our commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement, Bhoomithrasena club organized a Plastic Pollution Awareness Drive at Munambam Harbour,Ernakulam in association with Dept of Chemistry,St.Pauls College,Kalamassery.This initiative aimed to raise awareness among local fishermen, vendors, and visitors about the growing threat of plastic pollution to marine life and the coastal ecosystem. During the drive, students interacted with the public and displayed posters highlighting the dangers of single-use plastics and their impacts on marine ecosystem. Also conducted a session on microplastic pollution and their impact on the marine environment.
