Green Earth Solutions at LITTLE FLOWER COLLEGE (AUTONOMOUS) GURUVAYOOR
As part of the environmental conservation activities of the Bhoomithrasena Club, a cleaning programme was conducted on 14 January 2026 at Little Flower College (Autonomous), Guruvayur. The programme aimed to promote environmental awareness, cleanliness, and responsibility among students while encouraging active participation in maintaining a healthy campus environment.The cleaning programme began in the afternoon with the active participation of Bhoomithrasena Club members, student volunteers, and faculty coordinators. The participants were divided into groups and assigned different areas of the campus such as gardens, walkways, open grounds, and surroundings of academic blocks.
Students collected plastic waste, paper waste, and other litter from the campus premises. Proper waste segregation methods were followed during the activity. The programme also included awareness discussions on the importance of reducing plastic usage and maintaining cleanliness in daily life.
The cleaning programme was successfully completed with enthusiastic participation from the students. The campus environment became cleaner and more pleasant. The activity helped in strengthening students’ awareness about environmental conservation and social responsibility.
