Beautification of the School Garden at GOVT HSS SOORANAD
As part of an environmental awareness initiative, students participated in a Garden Beautification Programme in which they cleaned the garden area, removed weeds and waste, prepared soil beds, planted flowering plants and saplings, arranged pots, created a small herbal/vegetable garden, and helped in composting and regular maintenance. Guided by teachers, the activities encouraged teamwork, responsibility, and practical learning while promoting eco-friendly habits. The programme not only made the school campus greener and more attractive but also helped students develop a love for nature and pride in caring for their surroundings.
