World Environment Day Observation at Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College
The Bhoomitrasena Club at Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College celebrated World Environment Day with a tree-planting initiative on 5th June 2:00pm in the college campus. The event, aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainability, was inaugurated by Principal Shahad bin Aly. The programme was led by Dr. Usama CA, the Faculty in Charge of Bhoomitrasena Club, alongside Co-FIC Shabi Suhail. The event saw active participation from club members, who enthusiastically engaged in the tree-planting activities. Dr. Sharafudhen A, Prof. Usman CK, Maryam, and Rubeena delivered felicitation speeches, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation and the role of educational institutions in fostering eco-friendly practices.
In addition to the campus event, the Bhoomitrasena Club, in collaboration with the Hostel Association, organized another tree-planting programme at the boys' hostel premises. This initiative was led by Prof. Usman CK, Chief Warden of the Boys' Hostel, and Dr. Sharafudheen A, Warden of the Boys' Hostel, who also delivered felicitation speeches.
The collaboration with the Hostel Association underscores the comprehensive approach of Rouzathul Uloom Arabic College in promoting environmental sustainability across all areas of student life.
