Weather, Climate, and Beyond at Muhammed Abdurahiman Memorial Orphanage (MAMO) College
The Bhoomithrasena Club of MAMO College organized a video screening on 25th March 2025 at the Smart Classroom of the Department of Microbiology to commemorate World Meteorological Day. The event commenced with an inspiring inaugural address by Ms. Sana M.A., the club's Assistant Coordinator, setting a thoughtful tone for the session. This was followed by the screening of the impactful documentary "Beyond the Climate" by David Suzuki, which provided profound insights into climate change and its consequences. After the screening, an engaging and insightful discussion took place among the members, leading to the decision to implement small but meaningful steps toward achieving zero emissions on campus. The event concluded with a Climate Protection Pledge, reinforcing the club's commitment to environmental conservation.
