Wetland Wonders: Poster Competition and Poster Exhibition as part of World wetland day celebrations at HHMSPBNSS COLLEGE FOR WOMEN

The Bhoomithra Sena club of our college in association with Directorate of Environment and climate change, Government of Kerala celebrated World wetland day 2025. A Poster competition and exhibition was organized for students of the college based on the theme ‘Protecting Wetlands for the Future’ . The competition was held from 17.3.25 to 25.03.25. A total of 38 students registered for the competition and nine students participated in the competition and submitted their posters. The posters were scientifically evaluated by Dr. Arya Saraswathy, faculty member from Department of Physics and Dr Reji. faculty member from Department of History of our college. The evaluators recommended that all the posters were in good quality and conveying the message properly. The First prize was shared by two students Ms.Aryananda and Ms. Devika Remesh from Second year Zoology, Second Prize was shared by two students Ms. Anagha R.S Nair and Ms. Lidia Livingston from second year Botany . Third prize was secured by three students Ms.Sona Ajith, and Ms.Krishnendu from second year Zoology and Ms.Pavithra Kannan from second year Botany. The college Principal, Dr.S. Devika distributed the prizes and certificates to the winners. The posters were exhibited to students of other disciplines to understand the message that depicted in the posters and to enjoy the creativity of the students and how to present messages silently in a fruitful way to the viewers.
