Campaign to promote judicious use of plastic at CHRISTIAN COLLEGE, CHENGANNUR
Mr. Vishnu V.R., an active member of the Bhoomithrasena Club, has spearheaded a commendable initiative to raise awareness about the judicious use of plastic and the critical issue of plastic pollution within various schools across the Pathanamthitta district (GPMUPS Bhoothamkara, Govt. LPS, Elamannoor and KPPM UPS, Elamannoor). Taking personal initiative, Mr. Vishnu has been conducting awareness sessions aimed at educating students on the environmental impact of plastic waste, promoting responsible consumption, and encouraging green protocol. These sessions held on 19-02-2025 emphasize the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling plastic, and highlight the detrimental effects of plastic pollution on ecosystems and human health.
