NATIONAL SPACE DAY at College Of Applied Science Vattamkulam
The event featured three major competitions: poster making, quiz competition, and drawing
competition. The poster- making competition encouraged students to visually represent their
understanding of space exploration, futuristic space missions, and planetary science.
Participants displayed impressive creativity. Presenting thought-provoking ideas about space
technology, interstellar travel, and human colonization of other planets. The quiz competition
tested student’s knowledge of astronomy, space missions. And ground-breaking discoveries
made organizations such as NASA, ISRO, and Space X. It featured multiple rounds,
including rapid-ire and visual rounds, making it both challenging and engaging. The drawing
competition provided a platform or students to illustrate their vision of space, depicting
astronauts, celestial bodies, space vehicles, and imaginative extra-terrestrial landscapes.
The event fostered a spirit of scientific inquiry and creativity among students, making them
more aware of the vast possibilities in the field of space research. faculty members
appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and dedication, acknowledging their efforts in making
the events a success. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, where the organizers
expressed gratitude to the faculty, participants, and volunteers for their support and
cooperation.
