Drinking Water for Birds: A Compassionate Initiative at College of Applied Science, Ayalur

In the face of the sweltering summer heat, the Bhoomithra Club members of the College of Applied Science, Ayalur, have taken a noble step to provide relief to the local bird population. As temperatures rise, birds, like many other animals, face extreme challenges in finding fresh water, making it difficult for them to stay hydrated and thrive. In response to this pressing concern, the club has launched an initiative to place water-containing plates in strategic locations across Ayalur.

The initiative is aimed at offering a helping hand to the birds during the scorching heat. By setting up these simple yet effective water stations, the Bhoomithra Club members are ensuring that local birds have easy access to clean, fresh water, which is essential for their survival, especially during the summer months when natural water sources can become scarce.

The effort not only highlights the importance of compassion towards nature but also serves as a reminder of how small actions can make a big difference. The pots filled with water are placed in areas frequented visited  by birds, in the GUPS School,Ayalur Junction and College Campus.
