Jackfruit (from the campus) processing and sale at ST. STEPHEN'S COLLEGE

As part of an eco-friendly initiative, jackfruits harvested from the campus were processed, with the seeds carefully dried and sold, promoting the efficient use of natural resources. This activity provided students with a hands-on learning experience about sustainability, food processing, and waste reduction. By engaging in this process, they gained a deeper understanding of how natural resources can be utilized effectively rather than wasted. The initiative also highlighted the economic potential of value-added products from locally available resources. Through this effort, students developed a sense of responsibility toward sustainable living and learned practical skills that encourage self-sufficiency and environmental conservation.
