Cleanliness drive at Graveyard,Ayalur Grama Panchayat at College of Applied Science, Ayalur
Bhoomithra Sena Club members of our College organized a successful cleanliness drive at the graveyard of Ayalur Grama Panchayat. The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness, instill a sense of responsibility, and enhance the aesthetic and hygienic conditions of the local graveyard, an important place for the community. The drive began early in the morning, with a dedicated group of students gathering at the site equipped with cleaning tools such as brooms, gloves, garbage bags, and other necessary equipment. The members of the Bhoomithra Sena Club, guided by their faculty advisor, were keen on contributing towards maintaining a clean environment, not only for the living but also for respecting the deceased.
The students divided themselves into smaller teams to cover different sections of the graveyard. They worked diligently to remove trash, sweep the pathways, trim overgrown bushes, and clear any unwanted vegetation. The efforts ensured that the area was not only cleaner but also more accessible for visitors who come to pay their respects.
Additionally, the students educated local residents and passersby about the significance of keeping such important sites clean, promoting a culture of respect and cleanliness in the community.
