Organic Mehendi Preparation at KTM COLLEGE OF ADVANCED STUDIES
As part of the Eid celebration, the Bhoomithrasena Club students of KTM College of Advanced Studies prepared organic “Jaiva Mehendi” using natural ingredients and arranged its sale on the campus. The programme aimed to promote eco-friendly festive practices and create awareness about the harmful effects of chemical-based cosmetic products. Students actively participated in the preparation, packaging, and promotion of the mehendi, making the activity both educational and creative.
The initiative received a positive response from students, and around 30 students purchased the organic mehendi during the programme. The activity helped students understand the importance of sustainable and natural alternatives while also encouraging teamwork and entrepreneurship. The programme added colour and environmental awareness to the Eid celebration on the campus.
