Apiculture and Vermiculture products - Honey and Vermicompost at St. Thomas College, Ranni
About 6 Apiculture Units and 4 Vermicompost Units are there in the College campus. Students were given training for Bee culture, their handling method, maintaining of Bee hive, yielding Honey, etc. From the Apiculture Units, we used to collect honey especially during the season - November-February. Honey will be sold in the name of "Bee Zoo Honey". Vermiculture units also well maintained and fetching vermicompost and sold in the name of "Biogold".
