Backwater study tour, mangrove plantation, and Beach Cleaning Drive at GOVT HSS SOORANAD
A one-day study tour was organised for the students of Bhoomitrasena. The students visited 'Muntrothurathu' the backwater area and were given explanations about the ecosystem and the living organisms found there. In addition, mangrove saplings were planted as part of the conservation effort. Afternoon, they also carried out a beach cleaning activity at Kollam beach by collecting plastic waste from the shore. The students came back at 7 pm.
