- The Survey on Waste Management in the Campus was conducted as an action-oriented initiative to assess, analyze, and improve waste management practices. The program aimed to:
1. Identify the Present Waste Management System – Examine existing methods of waste collection, segregation, treatment, and disposal.
2. Analyze Waste Generation Patterns – Study the volume and types of waste produced, including biodegradable, plastic, paper, e-waste, and hazardous waste.
3. Evaluate Challenges – Identify gaps in waste handling, compliance with environmental regulations, and operational effectiveness.
4. Suggest Sustainable Solutions – Recommend eco-friendly waste reduction, composting, recycling, and proper disposal strategies.
5. Develop an Action Plan – Propose strategic steps for improved waste disposal and recycling.
6. Collaborate with Suchitwa Mission, Alappuzha – Seek expert guidance and support for implementation.
7. Submit the Survey Report – Forward the findings to Suchitwa Mission for necessary actions and recommendations.
