Activities
- 1. To rescue rare wild orchids that had fallen with cut teak trees during forest restoration works.
2. To re-establish rescued orchids on appropriate natural host trees in Bavali Forest.
- To assess the occurrence, abundance, and distribution of microplastics in the Kabani River basin using density separation and FTIR-ATR analysis.
- To create awareness about the role of genomics in safeguarding biodiversity and to encourage academic discussion on conservation biology.
- To raise awareness among students about sharks, their ecological importance, and the need for their conservation through simple, creative, and participatory activities.
- To promote awareness and understanding of snake diversity, conservation, and ecological importance among students through a display of preserved Indian snake specimens.
